This is a poem I find myself coming back to time and time again. For all the surety in its words, it poses more questions than it dares answer. The inspiration for this poem came simply from the word "ephemeral," which can be found at the poem's center. My hope is that readers come away with their own unanswered questions that will haunt them in the most intellectually tantalizing way.
